  This is the best kept secret of the Outer Banks. The keepers are so passionate about keeping the history of the US Life Saving Service alive. Toured the multiple building museum early during the week and then returned for the demonstration of the techniques that were used to save those in distress at sea. I will make this museum a 'must-go' on every vacation to the banks.
